Getting Bit Guide Service

2/10/12  West Michigan Steelhead Fishing has been good, it seems that we will never have a true winter this year and the fish seem to know it.  We have been catching a mix of really fresh fish, semi fresh fish, darker fish, and dropbacks this past week.  The Pere Marquette River, Grand River, and Muskegon River all have a good amount of Steelhead around, it is just a matter of getting the educated ones to bite.  This time of year sometimes it pays off to downsize or throw some oddball baits to trigger a response.  Most of our fish have come while float fishing but we have taken some fish while plugging and bottom bouncing as well.  Below is a good sample pack of pictures from this week.
